We spent Thanksgiving Day at Julie and Dave's. Dave's family was there too, so besides stuffing ourselves with Julie's delicious meal, we all sat around and admired Andrew. He has quite a fan club.
The Friday through Sunday after Thanksgiving is the traditional Van Veen getaway to Traverse City. A smaller crowd this year but lots of fun. Andrew brought a different dimension, but he happily shopped with the women on Friday, enjoyed pool time on Saturday morning, and watched the rest of us bowl Saturday afternoon. Maybe next year he'll be old enough to go on the men's pub crawl.
