Things have been pretty quiet since our last update. A little birding, a little pool time. Weather has been perfect. We did get 2 new lifers: the yellow-breasted chat and the yellow-headed blackbird. Acually the blackbird was the one lifer Len had that I didn't have yet so he had mixed felings about me seeing it.
We've been church-shopping at SPI. We've tried Chapel-by-the-Sea Interdenominational, Fishers-of-Men Lutheran, and St. Andrews-by-the-Sea Episcopal. Do you detect a theme in the church names? All of them are very small, very friendly, fairly informal, traditional music style, ministers ranging from old to elderly, short sermons, good messages. We like the liturgy of the Episcopal Church but find it easy to get lost. The Lutheran Church had lots of Scripture reading, not as much singing. It's always interesting and enjoyable to visit different churches, we're always blessed by being there with other Christians, and we always miss First Church.
