We had a wild weekend weatherwise--Saturday was wet and cooler, and Easter Sunday was cold (high was 48), blustery, and rainy. The effect was a huge "fallout" of migrating birds, landing and staying put for a few days, and giving us great views, and also the chance to get some closer photos than we normally could. We felt a little funny with our little ordinary digital camera, lined up with the folks who had professional-type equipment and 1000 mm lenses. We're happy with the results though.
Mar Cook and Joy Anema went back home to wintry Michigan on Sunday and Monday and Wednesday our daughter Julie arrived. Yesterday we introduced her to the pleasures of birding and had some good pool time. We had planned to go to Mexico today, but it warmed up right away, and today it's downright hot--forecasted high is 94. So we'll wait a day or two. More pool time today.

Yes, do not be ashamed of your fine pictures!
Nice that you are soaking up some moisture and rays in preparation for the big day.
