We have been busy with home projects and the January Lecture Series at Calvin College and visiting with friends. Len made a New Years goal of photographing 100 different bird species this year. You see pictured here the Redpoll sitting on one of our bird feeders. We had heard reports from our birding friends that a flock of Redpolls (a species we had never seen) was seen over by Meijers at Knapp Corners. It took us two trips to spot it. Now we have many of them on our home feeders.
