In Mississippi now

We've had a few people call us this week asking where are you now? And it's not surprising because we've been moving around so fast we can hardly keep up with ourselves :)

We had a good weekend at home last weekend, getting to our own church for our once every 2 month visit. Tuesday we left for Ohio to participate in a training meeting with several longterm recovery organizations that are responding to late summer floods. When we were first invited we thought, "Great, we'll get some more training," but no, we had to do some training. So we did that on Wednesday. On Thursday we drove to St. Louis and had dinner with son Chris and his girlfriend Allyson. It was great to see them again, and we had a good time celebrating birthdays together. Friday afternoon we went to the really good St. Louis zoo together, and at night we had dinner with them and Allyson's parents, who live in St. Louis too. Had a great time.

Saturday we drove to Laurel Mississsippi, where we'll be working on a reconstruction team for 3 weeks.

Glad you are safe and sound in Mississippi (that's as fun typing as spelling!!)
